Designed by Tom Purvis, recognised as one of the greatest poster designers of the twentieth century and responsible for the creation of Ice Dome Jack in 1937 which would later be used as the model for Mr Funshine.

The Mr Funshine logo was the face of Blackpool Pleasure Beach for 70 years before being retired in 2005 for the new corporate logo in 2006. The original design dates back to 1936 and was created by Tom Purvis.
